EmailLetter from the Pastor
Dear Friend,
What a privilege it is to pastor World Harvest Family Church. And what a joy it is to be able to tell you what we, as a church, would like to do and be in your life. You see, World Harvest Family Church is more than just a place of worship. It is a growing, loving family. There are so many great opportunities here to make friends, receive ministry and affect people’s lives with God’s love.
Something remarkable happens when you are in the heart of your pastor. That’s why everybody needs a church home and the loving care that only a shepherd can offer. If you are looking for such a place of encouragement and strength, we want to be that church for you.
Welcome!
Pastor Jonathan Boggs
What to expect!
Do you know that it matters where you go to church? God has a place for you where you will learn and grow in your relationship with Him. I encourage you to visit as many times as you want and allow the Holy Spirit to show you if WHFC is the right church for you. We would love to welcome you into our church family.
We are made up of people who are from all walks of life and who are at different places in their relationships with God. WHTC is a blend of brand-new believers and established, mature Christians. We are everyone from business owners to school bus drivers to homemakers, and most importantly we are people hungry for more of God in our lives.
Our friendly greeters will be at the doors waiting to greet you.
What WE Believe!
EmailJaime and Stephanie have been married for ten years and have three beautiful girls, Ashley, Jamie and Amber. They are graduates of Texas Bible Institute in Columbus, Tx. Jaime has been an active member of WHTC for over twelve years, while Stephanie has been at WHTC since its beginning. Together they serve as Assistant Pastors and Youth Directors. Jaime is currently the Principal for Harvest Christian Academy and director over Champion Sports League, as well as Athletic Director. Stephanie is the Finance Manager of the ministry. Jaime and Stephanie live a blessed life serving God in full-time ministry and they love every second of it!
Jose, Jeanette, and Joshua have served at WHTC since its inception and have been directors of missions for over ten years. They have taken teams to --and continue to minister in--several areas in Mexico, including Guanajuato (where Jose is from), villages around Llera, Tamps., Ciudad Victoria, and Rio Bravo. Currently they oversee three churches in Cd. Victoria, Voz Campesina, and Rio Bravo and a mission in Cd. Mante.
The primary objective of this missions ministry is to train up leadership within the local bodies so that they function in all the gifts and operations of the Spirit, and so that they, too, plant churches and raise up leadership, thus enabling the missions team to continue in other parts of Latin America and beyond.
In addition to serving in Mexico, Jose has traveled with other members of the team to minister in Honduras and India. Others have ministered in Ghana, Africa.
EmailManuel and Melissa have been members of WHTC since 1996. They have been married for 20 years and have 3 beautifully blessed children. They, along with their children, have been a part of and have happily served their local body for the past 13 years. Manuel and Melissa wear many hats in the ministry. They have worked from maintaining the church building and grounds to assisting in administrative departments of the ministry. Melissa is one of the directors at Harvest Christian Academy, a private school and an extension of WHTC. Manuel and Melissa's hearts' desires and passions are to reach out to the local community and share Jesus Christ by teaching the infallible Word of God and its many truths that can be applied to everyday life.
EmailWe, Joe and Eva Cruz have been members of the World Harvest Family Church for the last 18 years. In the summer of 1999, we felt a calling to lead the childrens' ministry. With no reservations, we jumped right in and have seen the glory of God in full manifestation. At our first meeting, eight children attended. Since then we have had as many as 60 children in one service, and now have about 40 children that attend regularly. Most children come from our school, Harvest Christian Academy, and some invite their cousins, friends, and neighbors. We praise our Heavenly Father for this tremendous opportunity to be a part of their lives and instill God's Word for their future. In January of 2004, the Lord blessed us with a beautiful baby boy, who is now 8 years old. He, too, is a big part of our ministry and will one day take over in God's Kingdom to do what God has planned for him. In everything we give God thanks and we count it all joy! Glory be to the Most High God!

EmailWilfredo and Cynthia have been members of World Harvest Family Church for over 20 years and like many of this congregation's members, wear several hats. In addition to directing the church's baby and toddler ministries with his wife, Wilfredo makes regular missions trips to Mexico. Wilfredo ministers God's Word on his trips to Mexico -- especially in the area of worship.
He currently leads a conjunto band with fellow church members who have praised God before our local congregation, our partner churches in Rio Bravo and Ciudad Victoria, at Island of Praise at South Padre Island, and wherever the Lord leads. He ministers and fellowships with these members and others in a bi-monthly men's bible fellowhip.
He, along with Joshua Andrade, the former Praise and Worship leader and a recent graduate of Texas Bible Institute, are looking forward to visiting Ron and Michelle Smith in Bulgaria to minister to churches and church leaders in the areas of worship in June of 2013.
Wilfredo, together with his wife and children, look forward to many years in His service, not only in our local body, but to our partner missions and churches in Mexico and all over the world.
